Risotto's story
She is 3 years old with hip dysplasia in both hips. She is a very active dog, and we have noticed more symptoms after a strenuous exercise...such as limping on her front leg (over compensating for the pain in her hips). She runs a little crooked, due to the right hip being worse. She is definitely less mobile after a lot of exercise! We also know the older she gets, the more the arthritis will set in, so we want to start trying the heat therapy to help manage any pain she may have and help keep her mobile. The vet thinks she is overcompensating for her hip dysplasia, or that she may possibly have elbow dysplasia as well. We have done laser therapy, swimming, and she takes a hip and joint supplement. We have never tried heated therapy.
